| These paintings are of various
comic book characters from both the Marvel and DC Comics worlds. You'll
find a few of my own creations at the bottom of the page too. Prints
are available for $150 (USD) including shipping. Unfortunately, I
cannot sell prints of copyrighted characters, so prints of Batman,
Superman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and X-Men characters are unavailable.
Feel free
to e-mail if you are interested in any prints of my original creations
though. Click on the thumbnails below to open a larger image. |

Marvel
Comics - Iron Man and Spider-Man
|
|
|
|
| Spider-Man is one of my favorite
comic book characters; I tried to capture the many different aspects
of the character in the above paintings but my favorite is the center
illustration. I wanted to give Spider-Man a little edge and play up
some of the angst of the character but not to the point where he became
"Emo-Spidey." No one would like that. Iron Man's another
favorite and now I'm sure a whole new generation of kids will be into
Iron Man since the great Iron Man film was released. |

Marvel Comics - Phoenix, Psylocke,
Rogue, Storm and Wolverine
|
|
|
|
| Psylcoke's probably my favorite
female comic book character and one who I think is underrepresented
in a lot of the fan art out there. So I decided to try and make up
for that a little by painting a few interpretations of the character.
The Phoenix painting was a commission I did for my friend's wife while
Rogue and Storm are there to try my hand at a few of the other X-babes.
Wolverine rounds out the section showing off his movie costume and...
I don't know what the hell the other costume is but I didn't want
to complete another illustration of the character in his yellow and
blue costume (either the old or new version). |

DC Comics
- Batman and Superman
|
|
|
|
| A lot of people are either
Marvel or DC fans and I've never understood why you couldn't be a
fan of both. I know I am, but I must admit that Batman and Superman
are my favorite fictional characters of all time. I have been a Batman
fanatic ever since Tim Burton's Batman came out in 1989 and
Superman has been a favorite for as long as I can remember. I guess
a lot of people think the DC characters are old fashioned and from
a bygone era but Superman and Batman are more than comic book characters,
they are American icons here to stay for years to come. |

Original
Creations - The Doorman and Luna
|
|
|
|
| Years ago, almost 10 in fact,
long before Suspect Zero and Dexter, I created a character
called the Doorman. The short of it is that he is a serial killer
who kills serial killers. I know, I know... it's so cliché
now but when I came up with the character, something like that had
never even been thought up (although the TV show Millennium
had hinted at the idea here and there). Luna is a more fantasy driven
character with part Amazonian warrior and part mystical nature woven
into her history. |
